2026年5月 室伏志保 個展
「y = おいしい」
久しぶりに展示テーマを設定しての開催です。
新年度っぽいテーマにしたいな、勉強はどうだろう？と考えていたら、二次関数のグラフが妙においしそうな形だったことを思い出しました。U（ユー）の字または、Uがひっくり返った形のあの曲線のやつです。
今まさに勉強中の学生さんも、元学生さんも、勉強中にどんどん脇道に逸れていく面白さに思いを馳せて、一緒に会場でニコニコできれば嬉しいです。
小作品以外に、大きな絵や立体（一部着脱可能なやつもあります！）も準備しています。

画面の中の彼らは、あなたや、よく知る誰かかもしれません。
少なくとも私の作品を見てくださっている時間は、 年齢も、職業も、国籍も、文化の違いもぜーんぶ超えて、 日々の小さな喜びにしみじみする、互いのおかしみをおもしろがる——白い犬を通して、私はそんな世界を願っています。

Shiho Murofushi Solo Exhibition in May 2026
“y = yum”
It’s been a while since I last created a themed exhibition.
In Japan, the school year begins in April. Thinking about a theme to match that feeling made me remember how quadratic graphs, like the U-shaped curves, or even upside-down ones, can look strangely appetizing.
Whether you’re currently studying or looking back on those days, I hope this exhibition brings back those little moments of imagination and distraction during study—and that we can share a few smiles together at the venue.
Alongside my usual small works, I’ve also created larger paintings and sculptural pieces, some of which include detachable elements.

The White Dog is not just a dog but a reflection of ourselves.
I dare not give them names. Like a blank canvas, they can be anything. They could be you or someone you know well.
At least in the moments spent enjoying my art, I hope everyone, as equals, regardless of age, occupation, nationality, or cultural differences, can cherish the small joys and share smiles over the quirky moments in our daily lives
—through The White Dog, I wish for such a world.
