「白い犬」は犬ではなく、私たちそのもの
真新しいキャンバスのように
何者にでもなれる白い犬。
名前はあえてつけていません。
画面の中の彼らは、
あなたや、よく知る誰かかもしれません。
少なくとも私の作品を見てくださっている時間は、
年齢も、職業も、国籍も、
文化の違いもぜーんぶ超えて、
日々の小さな喜びにしみじみする、
互いのおかしみをおもしろがる——
白い犬を通して、私はそんな世界を願っています。
