2025/11/26〜12/1の個展に向けた新作紹介。
丸いキャンバスをやぶれ饅頭っぽく加工し、そこに「おしくらまんじゅう」の様子を描きました。まんじゅう on まんじゅう です。 😆

New painting for my solo exhibition from November 26 to December 1:
“Oshikura Manju” is a Japanese winter game where kids huddle and gently push each other to stay warm — imagine everyone packed together like sardines, but warmer and full of laughter. Its name comes from manju, soft round buns filled with sweet bean paste.
For this piece, I shaped a round canvas so it looks like a manju bun before painting on it. This is usukawa manju — a "thin-layered" type of manju. So, it’s a manju on a manju piece! 😆
