古民家 空時さんで過ごす様子を描いた4枚目。どうやら面白い石を発見したようです。

みなさん、この石の呼び方ご存知ですか？私は去年初めてこの石の存在と呼び名を知りました。我が家にも小さなものですが1つあります。よかったら店頭でスタッフさんに訪ねてみてくださいね。

* This stone is called tome-ishi (literally “stop stone”) and is traditionally used in Japanese gardens or tea houses to quietly signal that guests should not go beyond a certain point. Why is it placed here, you might ask? That’s something you might enjoy asking the staff at Kominka-Soradoki, the café.

★Sales Information

• Available for purchase in-store only from June 14 at Kominka Soradoki, not sold at my solo exhibition. If you’re planning to visit, please check their pinned post or the information on this page below in advance.
