黒田清輝の《湖畔》は、図工や美術の教科書などで目にした記憶を持つ方が多いのではないでしょうか。私も日本人画家の端くれとして、日本の近代美術に大きな影響を与えた黒田に敬意を評し、すまし顔のオマージュ作品を制作してみました。作品を所蔵する東京文化財研究所様にはオマージュ制作の許諾確認をとっています。
手描きで同構図を複数枚制作しました。シリアルナンバーが入っています。
As a Japanese painter, I created this piece as an homage to “Lakeside”, a well-known work by Seiki Kuroda that many in Japan first encounter through school art textbooks. It is a tribute to a master who helped shape the path of Western-style painting in Japan. This work is an homage to Lakeside by Seiki Kuroda, created and presented with confirmation from the Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties, which holds the original painting.
This collection features five playful designs, each hand-painted in multiple pieces. A serial number is beside the artist’s signature on the painted side.
