2024年3月20日からの個展に向けた新作4枚目。お風呂上がりの冷たいものって、幸せを感じちゃいますよね。鍋の最後のシメみたいな感じで。
ところで、今回はじめて油絵で半立体表現に挑戦してみました。

The 4th piece for the upcoming exhibit in March 2024;
I always feel happy when I have something cold after taking a bath. It's like the 'shime' of Japanese hot pot cuisine.* By the way, this was my first time making semi-three-dimensional textures for the ice cream with oil pigment.

*For those unfamiliar;
'shime' is noodles or rice porridge served at the end of a hot pot meal. We usually put rice or noodles into a soup at the end to enjoy soaking up all the rich flavors.
The kanji character '湯' written on the background ‘noren’, a Japanese curtain, signifies a bathing facility. This place is my imaginary one.
