こちらも仁平古家具店さんの真岡店@nihei_mookaで撮らせていただいた影を元に描きました。
たぶん南天だと思うのですが、優しい暗さの店内でランプに照らされた艶やかな赤い実と、壁に映った柔らかな輪郭の影が、実に素敵な対比でした。前作「A Green Shadow」よりも、花器から壁まで離れていたため、同じ店内でも違った印象の影でした。面白いなぁ、影って。

This shadow is also at the Nihei Furukaguten, an old furniture store.
I think this plant is called "Heavenly bamboo" or "Nandina" — the tiny berries gleamed in the lamplight. In comparison, the outline of this shadow was blurry. (Because the distance from the wall is farther than the previous painting, 'A Green Shadow') But I also love this contrast between the gentle silhouette and the lovely berries.
